Count Characters In Post Titles and Meta Description

Both Post titles and Meta Description plays an integral part in the eyes of search engines. It’s important that your Meta Description must not exceed 145 Characters including spaces and that your Post titles Must not exceed 60 Characters. To give an illustrative view, see the image below,

You can clearly see that my Meta Description is written within the limit of 145 characters and that’s why it’s not broken. On contrary I have exceeded the limit of 60 Characters for my post titles and that’s why some text appears to be broken. Make sure you write your blog description and post titles within the required limit in order to attract more and more traffic.

To count the number of your Characters inside blogger post titles, blog title or meta description, you can use the MBT Tool below. This tool counts the number of letters as well as spaces.

Many blogs in the internet are unfortunately not fully equipped with A-Z help guides about blog template customization, are often crowded with duplicate content and often attach adds to the tutorials they share like “Widget by xyz.com”. An optimized website or blog is the only one to hope for huge traffic from search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN. An un-optimized website is like an orphan lost in a desert.

Blogging History
Mohammad started blogging in August 2008 just after completing his GCE A Level. After a US visa disqualification for higher studies, he started writing blogs to get rid of  the growing depression and thereafter his life changed dramatically. He started taking interest in tweaking Blogger Templates by thoroughly reading articles online. His thirst for learning and understanding latest web technologies like HTML4, CSS3, PHP and JavaScript equipped him with an excellent art of web designing. He is now a web designer and web developer by all rights without having taken any professional training.
MBT Purpose
The purpose of publishing MBT BLOG was to provide high quality Blogging tips, web designing tutorials, practical SEO tips and Online earning methods. Each post is published with a hope so that every blogger may learn the core basics to establish himself as a skilled entrepreneur, act as a rich resource to the online community and make a happy living online. Mohammad's advice to new Bloggers:

I am blogging since ten years but I still feel like a newbie and this is what that keeps me pushing to do more.

Color Code Generator and Color Wheel For Bloggers

These tools will help you a lot in customizing your Blogger templates and for writing more appealing posts. Kindly Follow the instructions for each tool before using it.

Color Code Generator

Instructions:
  1. First drag the bar on the "Hue" selector to the area of your desired colour palate. 
  2. Then click inside the Brightness/Saturation area and drag the cursor until you have achieved your desired colour. The "Swatch" bar shows you the final colour result.
  3. The hexadecimal colour code is generated in the "Hex" box. Simply copy the six digit code i.e #000000
  4. That’s it!

Color Wheel For Choosing Matching Palate Colors

This is a pretty useful tool to achieve matching or cohesive colours for navigation menu, background, hyperlinks, header etc. Instructions:
  1. Simply paste the six digit colour code in the form below without the hash (#) sign and then hit Update
  2. The matching colour codes will appear inside the four boxes at the right side.
  3. You can then copy the hex values and start using them!
