7 Advantages Of Using Facebook Comments Box

FACEBOOK-COMMENTS-BOXFacebook Comments Box is a great social plugin that fortunately now works just perfect with blogger. One should be ware of the advantages of all tools he is planning to use to make his web experience a more favorable one. For webmasters like us traffic is the fruit of our hard work and to get this fruit we try all possible methods. Last day We share a tutorial on how to add Facebook comments Form to Blogger blogs and today we will explain 10 most important advantages of using this great social plugin. See the demo here ,

Facebook comments Box

1- Traffic Booster

When a user decides to leave a comment at your blog using the FB comments box, he has the option to post or not to post the same comment on his Facebook profile.

POST A COMMENT

If chooses the option the this is how your Post appears on his profile,

COMMENTS BOX FOR BLOGGER

One  visitor can also click the "Like" link under another visitor's comment. This way your Posts are circulated widely over Facebook which is the largest Social media network with 500 Million active users.

2- Multiple Platform Commenting Option

Your visitors no more needs to log into blogger or create an open ID. They can comment using either their FB ID, Hotmail, AOL or Yahoo. Almost every online user in the world uses at least one of these services. So you visitors are provided with multiple options to post their comments.

3- Receive New Blog Comments Notification on Facebook

Whenever a comment is left on any of your posts you will be notified via Facebook Notification system. Same is true when a comment is liked or responded by another visitor or reader. The readers are also notified of replies made on their comments at your blog.

4- Threaded Comments

Your readers no more need to feel neglected because you no more need to reply them all at once. Rather you can pay them proper attention by replying to each reader under their comments. This way a comment thread is set up which further makes the conversation more useful and fun!

4- Comment With Profiles - No Anonymous Comments

You can now happily turn off the "Anonymous" comment option by going to Blogger > Settings > Comments . The users as I said can use any of their ID to leave a comment so you really no need to worry about who is commenting!

5- No Spam Comments Possible Now

You will get more relevant comments with no spam as users will have to use their personal IDs to leave a comment and spam robots are surely incapable of doing that.

6- Delete Comments Easily Without Leaving Window

In Blogger comment form to delete a comment you need to click the trash icon and the you are taken to a separate window where you select the option of deleting the comment permanently. But With FB comment box you Delete comments just the way you delete comments on your FB profile. With a click of a mouse!

7- All links are by default no follow

The links left on your comment box are by default tagged as nofollow and according to the FB developers search engine robots can not crawl the content of your comments as the plugin is enclosed inside a iframe where robots can not enter to crawl data. This way the quality of your content in the eyes of search engines will increase because the robots will have to crawl only the body of your posts and not the distracting comments.

What do you think now?

I shared the advantages above and tried to put forward the best advantages this widget could offer to bloggers including me. I just hope this widget could help you further increase your blog traffic and enjoy blogging even more. Have fun. :)

  2. You have indeed done a great job by making fb comments compitable with blogger. But, by embedding this, does it not increase the page load time?

  3. This is great but no anonymous = less comments/feedbacks

  4. I currently use Disqus for comments. But I do agree with you that the FB box will increase traffic.
    PS. Who uses hotmail and AOL anymore?

    You are right brother. The reason why I have not adopted it as yet is because this plugin is good for blogs that Long text and HTML can not be posted using the plugin. For writing tutorials I often have to share long chunk of comments to users to better help them. Secondly the only draw back with this plugin is that if you ever decide to remove it then all your comments will get deleted. But if you decide to keep it forever then no problem.

    @Amit
    Thanks pal. Oh sure it doesn't effect the load time as much as DISQUS does. The scripts are stored on fast running FB servers so no problem at all.

    @Ahmad
    As I mentioned that annoymous comments = Spam, The Commenting options such as FB ID, yahoo and hotmail will let anyone comment because every second person online uses at least one of these services. So your comment ratio will surely increase.

    @G
    Hotmail is the second largest web email service after yahoo with over 280 Million active users. Far more than Gmail. AOL still has great reputation.
