Releasing Blogger Notification Bar!

Looks like the new year is near! Out of the premium sets of design resources in our repository, we often share one of them as a freebie when the occasion is precious. There are many creative premium widgets, tools and plugins that we managed to develop this month for our regular clients and out of these I will be sharing just two such resources as a new year gift. They are: (1) Blogger Notification bar widget that you can see live on our blog at the top and (2) a Blogger Template entitled "Salahuddin Ayubi" which is far better than any of the templates we designed so far and makes us really jealous when we compare it to our current design of MBT blog itself!

What's New in it?

This notification bar works best by grabbing readers attention and helps you to focus readers towards important deals, announcements or any story. It functions on pure JQuery light-weight functions and is compatible with all major browsers including IE9.

Custom, unique and non-commercial plugins are always better then public designs. HelloBar is now too common and used everywhere and you may not like the limited design customizations offers provided by them along with their logo on the plugin. HelloBar also requests URL redirection and you need to register to use it. Scripts are stored at Hellobar server and the browser needs to send a request in order to display it on your blog or site. Really not appropriate if you don't like redirections and attribution links.

Blogger Notification bar requires no registration and provides far better design flexibility. The scripts are less than 6KB in size and fully hosted at your server. You can change its look and theme to any color that may blend your layouts. Every single element is well structured and can easily be configured. A perfect tool to play with.

Installing Notification Bar on blogger

Creating links

To create links inside the notification bar use the following code:

Hey Bro, Really Cool Modification Of Foobar and Hellobar. I Guess there is a Small Bug. When We hide the Blogger Notification bar it keeps on Showing the OLDER/Newer Post Navigation Buttons. I think you forgot to include its coding in the Nav bar?

As per the credits, You should use jQuery to protect your copyrights. I knew there are lots of Copiers and Spammers who copies widgets without giving any credits. I am also using Encoded jQuery to protect my copyrights on my widgets.

Since, you are a developer yourself then, This would be a Piece of cake for you bro. BTW: I love the Name "Salahuddin Ayubi" LOL.

Elaborate what? The line or the Bar?
I guess its the bar.

I guess it is meant to be like that because suppose a reader has already read the notifications, he no longer need to see again and he can hide it but the previous and next buttons doesn't come in the part of notifications, instead they are more of a part of navigation. So that if the reader don't want to see the notifications, he can hide them but can still navigate to other posts easily.

I Guess you know what I mean about that Line.

You May have the point but i guess you didn't tested the widget properly, once we close the Bar it doesn't catches our History so on Reloading the page the Hello bar Again take its shape.

Secondly, IF the Navigation buttons doesn't comes in the part of notification bar then we should not add it in such places which is overlapping other widgets.

So, the equation of showing Older/Never would give an ugly look to a site. Its my personal opinions, otherwise the widget is spotless bang on money!

Yes I didn't actually notice that history of hiding. Kinda like FB recommendations box which acts similarly after reload/refresh.

May be the navigation is overlapping but suppose if it is removed the notification bar would look a bit lonely :P

LOL :) May be but if we add those Older Button on Left and Newer on Right side of the Blog's Wrapper plus make them floatable then it could give an elegant look. I am using the same technique on my site.

Hehe.. Actually people have become too smart that they will waste their time removing that logo instead of creating or learning something themselves. MBT is giving this absolutely free and they they deserve the credit.

Second thing I don't understand why people are not saying that Hello Bar is smart to embed the logo in their bar?
