Show Off Follower Counts For RSS, Twitter and Facebook Followers

You have seen many mind blowing widgets on wordpress blogs but its now time to make Blogger a better place! Presenting to you just another beautiful and yet useful widget that displays the current number of your blog subscribers, twitter and facebook followers. This widget is based solely on pure CSS and HTML with no JavaScript involved therefore you just need to update the counts manually. At present I am learning programming too so as soon as I develop some good command in programming, I will automate all MBT widgets but at present bear with me as a designer only :p

NOTE:- Make sure to replace the bolded text with the required details (links of your Feedburner, twitter and facebook accounts) and replace the bolded numbers with your current follower counts. For example replace 515  with your current number of Subscribers, replace  1058 with the number of your twitter followers and replace 260 with the number of your facebook followers

     5.    Save and you are done! Now view your blog to see a stunning widget hanging on your sidebar :D

Customization:

Surprisingly MBT Blessed With Page-Rank 3.0!!

Never thought 2010 could be such a blessing in my life! Just within 10 months of its release, MBT has amazingly being blessed with a Google Page Rank 3, which is a measure of a web’s importance in the eyes of the Mega Search Engine i.e Google. Luckily not just the MBT homepage but a lot of internal pages have got PR-2-3!

 

I am extremely thankful to all my readers for their continuous love, support and dearest motivation. Verily I could not have achieved this without the active participation of our readers because half the credit goes to you guys for gifting MBT with precious content everyday with your lovely and relevant comments. The Emoticons Will appear In Both Readers and Author’s Comments!

As you know the yahoo smileys tutorials has one disadvantage and that is that the emoticons appear only in readers comments and can not be displayed in author comments. In order to make the emoticons appear even in Authors comment block then simply replace the code in bolded red colour above (i.e  Author-comment-body ) with the CSS class for blog owners customized comments. If you do not know how to do it then simply share your blog URL and I will let you know what code should you paste instead of Author-comment-body

I made it as simple as it could be and I hope it will add an extra sweet flavor to your blogs. The codes for the emoticons are made easy so that readers could easily use an emoticon of their choice. You can increase the number of emoticons and can also customize the look and feel of the rectangular box of emoticons that will appear above the comment form.       2. Write down your category and name of your facebook fan page which must resemble with the category of your website
      3. And Click create and see your new facebook fan page
      4. Just add it into your website and invite your friends to join it!
