How to use Google Scribe in Blogger?

google-scribeBlogger recently announced the integration of word/phrase suggestions on Blogger in draft. Google scribe is a tiny programmed tool that suggests important words and phrases as you type. Most often we go out of words and we look for good phrases to decorate the paragraph. Now thanks to this new tool, you can prepare scholarly written paragraphs with words that will flow with your rhythm. This features is only available on Draft.blogger.com and not availed on blogger.com. Lets learn how it works,

How to Enable Google Scribe in Blogger?

  1. Go to your post editor and click the Pencil icon that appear in tools above. See below,

For multiple suggestions simply click the arrow next to the pencil icon and choose "Show multiple suggestions" The relevant words will appear in the drop down menu.

Keyboard shortcuts for Google Scribe

Below are some keyboard shortcuts tips that will help you better use scribe.

PS: If you use a Mac, you can use the shortcuts below by replacing Ctrl with Command key (or 'Apple' key)

  • Ctrl-j to enable and disable Scribe
  • Ctrl-Shift-j to select and deselect multiple suggestions
  • ESC to temporarily remove a suggestion
  • TAB to restore a suggestion
