Does Google Penalize Online Casinos and Gambling-related Content?‏

Does Google Penalize Gambling-related content?
Casino and online gambling websites have trended over the past few years, and are extremely popular. It is not surprising to see more of such websites surfacing following the prowess of this niche. But the big question is, are these sites ethical? More importantly, does Google allow gambling and online betting-related content, such as blog posts on casinos, online casino reviews, etc. to be published to websites freely? Granted that Google can't control what content webmasters can put on their sites, but it sure can ensure which sites get high search rankings, and which don't.

Is Making Money From Blogging Haram?

28 Comments so far

Is Blogging Halal or Haram?
So I was going through my inbox a few days back, and came across a very unusual question - the kind people don't usually worry about. A dear follower asked whether earning money online (through blogging etc.) was haram (prohibited is Islam) or not. The question has so many implications that we decided to make a blog post about it, since it not only applies to our Muslim fellows, but to our brethren in the whole blogging community, since it's a question of blogging ethics, and not just religion.

7 Blunt Reasons Why You Don't Deserve to Blog!‏
Do you own a blog? If so, then you're among the 10% or so of the world's internet population that blogs. As many as a 250 Million blogs (possibly more) were known to exist in 2012, and the pace this number is growing at is astounding. But not everyone who blogs is worth their salt, and comparing this huge number of blogs to the blogs that are actually creating their own, original and unique content, we're only left with a handful. This is not to say that most blogs are useless and are only generating 'noise' on the internet. But many are. If you are blogging, then you should carefully evaluate yourself, and see whether you're not making any of the mistakes listed below. Because if you are, then frankly speaking, you're just wasting your time, and don't deserve to be blogging.

6 Actions Taken against Blogs that are Flagged

32 Comments so far

Yesterday, we did a post on some of the things that are against Google's policy, Writing about these things on your blog might result in your blog getting deleted, or at least flagged. It also might get flagged as a result of other people reporting your blog for a violation. When this happens. your blog is automatically entered into Google's flag queue. A team will then review those flags, and if no violation is taking place, they will simply let that blog go. Otherwise, appropriate action against the blog is  taken to maintain the safety of the network, and to ensure no such thing happens again from that party in the future.

Google is watching you

Google Blogger is a very popular publishing platform. Millions of blogs run on Blogger, adding a vast inventory of knowledge to the internet. It is a free service designed for communication, self-expression and freedom of speech. But while that stands, Google also has to uphold its image of quality and safety for its users. If a blogger violates Google's quality guidelines, then Google will take action against that Blogger blog to protect its users. A lot of people ask us why their blog was suspended or deleted, even when they seemingly didn't do anything wrong. Well, there must be something they were doing, which is why Google had to do it. In this post, we discuss what things go against Google's policies, and which things you must avoid to stay safe.

Meet Chef LoOny!

Chef loOny - a Blogging Buddy

At last 2013 greeted us with a complete new transformation. MBT is now wearing a new dress, certainly version 2.0 of its theme transformation. The blue and black layout has been replaced with a far better solid structure, colored in green and grayish black. With Google's great emphasis on a better core HTML structure and fast loading content, we had to make some serious changes to the template by replacing every single bit of the old user interface with something more favorable and interesting. The template is a result of one week of continuous Graphic and Coding exercise. In order to add further fun to this new MBT environment and especially to better promote our idea of a blog kitchen and its delicious recipes, I spared few more working hours in giving birth to an extremely helpful partner, called "Chef LoOny" :)

Introducing Pro Blogger's Kitchen!

A Blogger's Kitchen

As a single watchman of your entire website, you often fail to reach your blog audience in every single post. With growing readership, comes a great responsibility. The reason people subscribe you is because they love your work and they expect a lot of help from you. In my case, I found it almost impossible to do justice with readers' queries. I fail to reach every single  reader because dozens of comments are posted every day. It takes a lot of time to load each page and post a response. Sometimes replying comments takes more than 2 hours. Therefore we thought of a way that could significantly help just not us but everyone of you in the way you help out and reach your blog readers. To counter this growing author-reader communication gap the idea of a Kitchen hit my mind!

The Terrible Exams are Finally Over!

65 Comments so far

Exams are over!It feels like someone has dragged me out of a big mountain. I feel like I am literally breathing again! I called it terrible because they really were terrible! :p I am pursuing B.E in Computer and Information System Engineering and just attended exams of 6th semester, 2 more semesters to go after which (Graduation) I would have enough time to groom STC Network. As a student its tough to look after an online business which demands both time and care. Working online today with an increasing competition and rapidly changing moods of online traffic, you can not let your blogs run on auto-pilot mode even if it is managed by your employees. Exams for me mean a complete 40 days ban on all online activities. No clients, no engagement with readers (through blog, fan pages, phone calls or email), no product promotion, no posting, no technical learning, no innovation and no implementation of developed skills. It does not only effect the revenue but also skill productivity.

Avoid Getting Banned by AdSense Due to Copyrighted Material

51 Comments so far

One of the biggest disadvantage (among numerous advantages) of the internet is the theft of original content, or piracy in other words. Copyright violation is a big issue, and is not only a danger to the originality of the content online, it is also a threat to the individual content creators, who do all the work while someone else takes the credit, hence offsetting their prospects. Although such violation can not be stopped, it can be discouraged. And Google is taking steps to do just that. Many webmasters use Google AdSense to monetize their sites and generate revenue. So to discourage copyright infringement, Google bans websites that it finds are violating its copyright policies. Here is what you need to know to stay on the good side of AdSense, or else you might find yourself banned in no time.

7 Reasons why Never Migrate Blogger To Wordpress

99 Comments so far

never migrate to wordpressIts 2012, 13 years have passed when pyra labs (acquired by Google in 2003) first launched Blogger and 9 years have passed when Matt Mullenweg  first developed Wordpress as a blogging software in May 27, 2003.  There is still too much confusion and myths about these two great blogging tools and all credit goes to some well polished Bloggers themselves who would never try to speak justly. Just like our TV talk shows where two parties debate with one another and their sole aim always remains to prove the other one wrong, same is true about Blogger vs. Wordpress comparison in blogosphere.  New comers or beginners who just came to know what a blog is and how to make a living out of it, are badly confused to pick the right platform out of the available two. People who fail to optimize and monetize their Google blogs often migrate to wordpress and they do so because they are blinded with a false belief that blogger being free is neglected by sponsors and Wordpress being self hosted is warmly welcomed and generates both traffic and revenue due to an extremely helpful community and easily configured open source PHP platform.

Tips To Increase Blog Traffic Inorganically
The success of a Blog totally depends on the traffic following it. It’s important to identify the significance of building a considerable traffic and then maintaining it because it is your blog’s traffic that decides the future of your blogging career. I have been observing newbie Bloggers Trend closely since the day I started my blogging career. The reason why most of the bloggers find their blogs going nowhere is that they serve 40% of their time in searching from where to get the contents, 20% on manipulating it,20% graphics and layout, etc. and only 20% on bringing traffic and increasing viewership. However you need to know that no matter how masterpiece articles you produce, if there is no traffic to read it, you have simply wasted your time in writing it!
