Top Ten Reasons Why I can't Stop Using Facebook?

facebook_quit How hard could it be to create an account on Facebook? If a kid out there can do it,then you can do it...right? Well, creating an account on Facebook, using it for a long time, and then deleting your account isn't that easy. You get addicted to using it.Oh Yes you do! Believe it or not. If you believe it, you can close this window, but if you don't, continue reading the post.

Few days ago, as i leaned back and rested my head against the chair, I thought "Why do I use facebook?" Is there any way to get out of this addiction? Any possible way? What are those things that keep me stick to Facebook?" ...And then there was a list of reasons, reasons why I cant stop using Facebook. Here they are!

1- UPLOADING PHOTOS

703119416I'm definitely not going to waste an hour or even a few minutes attaching photos in an email  and sending it to all my friends.I mean come on! It takes too much time. Instead, I'll just prefer uploading them on Facebook and wait for my friends' comments.

2- BIRTHDAYS!

Balloons_Birthday_Clipart

I swear I never wished people their birthdays as regularly as I do it now i.e after joining Facebook. Its so much easier to remember birthdays now! Facebook is really smart in telling you whose birthday is coming.

3- STALKING

stalking

It is a germ found in everyone these days! Who doesn't stalk? Everyone loves stalking! And through Facebook, I can easily stalk my ex-friend's new friends. Oh Yeah, I do..And I know, you do too! :p

4- CONNECTING PEOPLE

141994418 Through Facebook, I happen to find so many of my lost contacts. School friends, relatives etc. I lost them as I didn't have their email addresses obviously! Without Facebook, what would you do if you don't have the email address of a lost contact. Facebook messaging is great in this regard!

5- FACEBOOK APPLICATIONS

facebook applications

Even if you put aside everything, 80% of you out there are addicted to Facebook Applications like Zynga's games. Farmville tops the list. I am one of the addicts.

6- EVENTS

Events

There are a dozen events out there whom you are intending to attend, but most of the time you don't remember. The Events page always reminds you.

7- NOTIFICATIONS

The News Feed! The news feed always keeps you NOTIFIED. The first thing I do is to scroll through all the notifications, check all my friends' activities. And its not to be ignored! You are more like your friends' guardians on Facebook =p

8- STATUS UPDATES

update

This is the most addicting thing on Facebook. You keep people following you, even if they don't want to follow you! :p

9- SOCIAL MISSIONS/CAUSES

social cause

Surely, you wouldn't have liked this point much. But the fact is my friends, Facebook helps you a lot in gathering people for an event or a campaign. Try it yourself if you don't trust me. Go on! Don't just sit and curse this point!

10- YOU ARE NOT HIDDEN

you are not hidden

Yeah, I'm not hidden on Facebook. I can easily share my ideas and several other things,  bring forward whatever is in my mind and share people's ideas. In this way, I learn many things about others as well as many other ideas/sites and many other things!

So?

thinking In a nutshell, I would just say leaving Facebook is the hardest thing I would ever do. I guess 15 times, I deactivated my account vowing that I won't ever use Facebook...but the addiction gets me back to it.
If you're a Facebook addict like me; don't worry. If you check in to the Facebook world every now and then, you just keep having fun,and having fun is nothing bad.
And if people horrify you by the Facebook Addiction Disorder(FAD), just tell them that it isn't in any of the medical books! But at the same time you should think "Do my Facebook friends have to know every time when do I hang out and what I do all the time?" :p
